  • Can you tell me more about your dog kennel?

    Located in southeast Tucson, At-Home Kennels Pet Resort is a full-service pet grooming salon, daycare, and boarding center. We board all breeds and ages, from puppies to senior citizens in a fun and secure atmosphere. Through our full-service salon, we meet all grooming needs.

  • Is there AC and heating?

    The interior dog runs are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winters. The outside is enclosed with a block wall topped with chain-link offering privacy. We provide all necessities including food, bowls, and warm clean beds and blankets.

  • What amenities are included?

    Climate Controlled Indoor/Outdoor Kennels, Community Room for Small Dogs, Custom Care for Dogs & Cats, Daily Off-Leash Playtime for Dogs, Special Diets & Medications, Premium Food and Supplies, Grooming, Day Care Available, Pet Transportation Services, After Hours Drop Off/Pick up.

  • What kind of food do you provide?

    Diamond Naturals Chicken/Rice Adult or Puppy and Diamond Naturals Lamb/Rice dry dog food formula. For cats, Diamond Naturals Indoor Cat dry food. If your pet has specific diet needs, you are welcome to bring your pet's food from home.

  • What is required to board?

    Vaccination documentation is required. Dogs need: Distemper-parvo, 6-month Bordetella, Rabies, Leptospirosis. Cats need: Feline upper respiratory, Leukemia, Rabies. Documentation can be sent by email or fax prior to arrival.

  • Do you board other animals besides dogs and cats?

    Yes. We have boarded pot-bellied pigs, rabbits, birds, ferrets, iguanas, snakes, hamsters, and goats. Exotic boarding rates vary - please call.

  • What time are you open?

    We are open from 7am-6pm Monday-Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday/Sunday.

  • Where are you located?

    We are located on the southeast side of Tucson on a small road off Harrison, just past Raven Ranch. We are the 3rd left turn on Millmar Rd. Address: 9575 E Millmar Rd Tucson, AZ 85730

  • What Holidays are you closed for?

    Closed to the public on Easter Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Staff present and pets cared for. Close at 2 pm on Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve.

  • Are you open Sundays?

    Yes, we are open from 8am to 4pm Sundays.

  • What time can I drop off my pet?

    If your pet has been with us before, drop off anytime during open hours. If new, do not drop off within the last hour so pet has time to adjust while supervised.

  • What time is pick-up?

    You must pick up before 10am to not be charged for the day of pickup. If unable to pick up by 10am, you can pick up until closing but will be charged a full day's charge.

  • How old does a pet need to be to board?

    We will not accept any pet under 4 months.

  • How far out should we schedule a reservation?

    We can make same day reservations but book up early for certain dates. For Spring/Summer/Fall break, schedule 6-8 weeks in advance. Winter break: 8-12 weeks. Easter: 2-3 weeks. Memorial/Independence/Labor Day: 4-6 weeks. Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years: call by Sep 1st.

  • Can I drop off or pick up my pet outside your open hours?

    Yes, we offer after hour services scheduled at least 2 days in advance. Service fee of $25 added to all after hour appointments. If appointment between 9pm-3am, fee is $50.

  • Can I come tour the facility?

    Yes, tours available by appointment only. Available every day except Monday and Fridays. All pets must stay at home for tours.

  • When is the latest I can cancel?

    Cancellations made as soon as possible. For major holiday reservations: $50 non-refundable deposit required. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival may use deposit for future stay. Less than 48 hours: deposit becomes cancellation fee.

  • What does Daycare mean for your facility?

    Daycare is when a pet is dropped off and picked up the same day. They do not spend the night. Daycare does not mean the pet will be socialized with other animals.

  • Is there anyone on-site after hours?

    We do not have anyone inside the facility after business hours, however we do have 2 people who live on property.

  • Do you have cameras in your facility?

    No, at this time, we do not.

  • How long after I adopt my pet can they be boarded?

    We require at least a 2-week wait after adopting any pet. If your pet is coming from PACC (Pima Animal Care Center) then we require at least a 3 week wait.
