Dogs Mobile Grooming is a service operated by Local Atlas Group, LLC, a California limited liability company, which is the data controller for the information described below.
You stay anonymous. There are no user accounts and no logins, and you can read every listing without giving us your name, email, or any other personal detail. We do measure how the site is used — anonymously, and never in a way that identifies you.
The one exception is claiming a listing. If you're a business owner verifying that a listing is yours, we collect the minimum needed to check that. The details are below.
Claiming your listing (business owners)
We're rolling this out to a few listings at a time while we test it.
To confirm you own a listing, we send a one-time code to a contact already published on it: the business phone number, or an email at the business's own domain. You pick which. We never send a code to an address someone types in, because that would prove nothing.
We keep the contact the code went to, your name if you give one, and the changes you submit. A person reviews those changes before anything goes live.
Asking for a code does not sign you up for anything. Today we send nothing to that contact but the codes you request. Message and data rates may apply.
We never send marketing, by email or text, without your explicit permission. If we offer updates for business owners, opting in is your choice, never a condition of claiming, and you can opt out any time.
We keep verification records only as long as we need to run the claim system and show who changed a listing. Want yours deleted? Email [email protected].
Analytics and cookies
To understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow, Dogs Mobile Grooming uses two measurement tools:
- Google Analytics — reports how many people visit, which pages they read, and which links they follow. It sets cookies in your browser and its own privacy policy applies to the data it collects. We never send it your name, email, or phone number, and we never use it to identify an individual visitor.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — counts visits and measures page-loading speed. It sets no cookies and does not track you across websites.
You can block both with any standard ad or tracker blocker, or with your browser's "Do Not Track" and cookie settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
Dogs Mobile Grooming may also add display advertising later, to support running the site. If that happens, the ad network involved may set its own cookies and its own privacy policy would apply. We'll update this page if it changes.
Third-party listing data
The business listings shown on Dogs Mobile Grooming are compiled from public business-listing sources. That information is about businesses, not about you as a visitor to this site.
