• Full-Service Bath & Blowout Package Comprehensive signature service including brushing, light knot & tangle removal, bath & blowout, facial scrub, ear & eye clean, nail clipping, paw pad & sanitary trim, Well-Being WrapUp®, and deshedding if required.
• Puppy Cut Even-length trim all over, typically 1/2 - 1 inch in length.
• Breed Clip Styling based on official AKC® breed standards.
• Shave Down Coat clipped very short all over. Typically used for severe matting or skin issues.
• Teeth Brushing Helps prevent tooth decay, plaque buildup, and control bad breath.
• Dremel Nail Grinding Provides a smoother nail finish with less sharp edges, especially beneficial for dogs with very thick or dark nails.
• Paw Pad Treatment Soothe, moisturize and replenish dry, cracked paw pads with a relaxing paw massage using an antioxidant-rich oil blend.
• Aloe Moisturizing Treatment Moisturize dry, itchy skin and coarse coats with aloe shampoo, an aloe heat wrap and paw pad treatment.
• Deshedding Gently removes loose undercoat fur leaving coat soft, healthy, and noticeably lighter with less shedding for weeks to come.
• Kitty Cut Slight shortening of coat length while keeping a more natural look. Keeps fluffy appearance while removing bulk and tangles.
• Lion Cut Body shaved short with mane left around the head & neck and tuft at the end of the tail.
• Belly Shave Only the stomach is shaved to prevent tangles and matting in hard-to-reach spots. Remaining coat is left long.

• Can I book only one a la carte service like a Nail Trim?

  We do not take reservations for single a la carte services like nail trims. Every Bark & Mane session includes the Full-Service Bath & Blowout Package.

• Does Bark & Mane express anal glands?

  No, Bark & Mane does not express anal glands. This is a medical procedure that, for the optimal safety of the dog, should be conducted under the recommendation and supervision of a veterinarian.

• What kind of shampoo does Bark & Mane use?

  We use high-quality, hypoallergenic shampoos that are specifically formulated for pets and meet the highest standards in the professional grooming industry. Our products are gentle, safe, and cruelty-free, are selected to support healthy skin and coats.

• Does Bark & Mane groom both cats and dogs?

  Yes, Bark & Mane provides grooming services for both cats and dogs.

• What is the price of a Bark & Mane grooming session?

  Bark & Mane services are competitively priced based on your cat or dog's size, breed, weight, current coat condition and service requested. To get a price for your pet, submit a form to get a custom quote.

• Does mobile pet grooming cost more than grooming in a brick-and-mortar salon?

  Often it does. Mobile pet grooming is a specialized service focused on providing a high level of care for you and your pet, which means that a limited number of cats and dogs can be accommodated each day. You may pay a little more for mobile grooming, but it comes with convenience, time savings and peace of mind.

• What vaccinations are required for my cat or dog to be groomed?

  All dogs and cats must meet current vaccination, parasite, and health requirements according to state laws in your area. We also recommend vaccinations for Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP), Hepatitis, Parainfluenza Adenovirus Type 2, Corona, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella if not required in your state.

• How should I prepare for Bark & Mane's arrival?

  Please make sure your pet has had an opportunity to relieve themselves and is easily accessible. For cats, it is best to put them into a carrier 15 minutes before arrival. For high-energy dogs, taking them for a brisk walk or a short play session before your groomer arrives is recommended.

• Do I tip my groomer?

  As with many personalized services, tipping is appropriate and much appreciated by our hard-working groomers.

• How long does dog grooming or cat grooming take?

  The duration of grooming sessions varies based on the size, breed, and coat condition of your dog or cat. On average though, it takes about 90 minutes for a standard grooming appointment.

• How do I schedule an appointment?

• What if I need to change or cancel my pet's appointment?

  Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for any changes to or cancellations of your appointment. A cancellation fee may be assessed if the appointment is changed or canceled within 48 hours of your appointment.

• How often should I schedule grooming appointments with Bark & Mane?

  We recommend every 4-8 weeks depending on your pet's coat type and needs. Regular grooming sessions are crucial to maintaining your pet's overall health and well-being, so setting up recurring appointments with Bark&Manetain™ helps establish an easy routine.

• Do you need access to water or electricity during the mobile grooming?

  No, Bark & Mane's mobile pet grooming vans are fully self-contained, including water and electricity.
