Frequently asked questions

• What vaccinations do my dog need?

Up-to-date rabies is required. You can have your vet email to [email protected] or text to 404-966-9900 or be prepared to provide the information at the time of the appointment.

• Why should I have my pet professionally groomed?

Professional groomers have experience handling dogs of different breeds and sizes, the right grooming tools, and can manage tasks like flea control and anal gland expression. They can also spot possible health conditions.

• What are the health benefits of grooming?

Grooming maintains pet health and cleanliness. Professional brushing prevents mats that can cause pain and discomfort. Regular nail trimming prevents nails from curling into skin. Groomers can spot skin infections, inflammations, lumps, rashes or lesions that may be missed by owners.

• How often should my pet be groomed?

The proper frequency depends on your pet's breed, hair length, and coat type. In most cases, regular grooming should be done about every four to six weeks.

• What do grooming services include?

  Please see the Services page.

• How long does a grooming session take?

Duration depends on the size of your pet, coat type and length, types of services requested, and how cooperative your pet is. Ask at drop-off for an estimate.

• How much does a grooming session cost?

The reservationist can give you an estimate when you call to schedule. At the appointment, the groomer can give you a firm price based on seeing your pup and discussing requested services.

• Deposit / Cancellation Policy

B&A Mobile Grooming requires a $25 deposit applied to your appointment. Clients must give 72 hours notice of cancellation. The $25 deposit will be applied to the next appointment if re-booked within two weeks from cancellation date.
