I have had a love for animals since I can remember. My constant need for animal companionship led me to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. I graduated in 1992 and went to work at the Hunterdon SPCA for almost a year. While I was there, I became a certified animal control officer. In December of 1993 I graduated from the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming. I have been grooming dogs and cats ever since! I have had the opportunity to groom in both a mobile and shop environment. I have chosen to return to mobile grooming because I feel the animals benefit from remaining in their own environment.

Services

• Full Grooming Hydromassage bath, hand drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning, full brush out and haircut (if desired)
• Dematting Charged in 15 minute increments for an additional fee. Discussed on case-by-case basis.
• Cat Grooming Haircut or brush out. Some cats will not tolerate a bath but may allow other services.
• Nail Trimming Will trim nails of other pets not being groomed if notified in advance

Frequently asked questions

• Do you need me to provide anything when you come?

  No. I only need your pet! The van is completely self-contained and I will take all the dirty water and the dog hair with me when I leave.

• Do you groom cats?

  Yes, I do groom cats. Cats are very sensitive creatures and the quiet environment a mobile salon can offer suits them well. Some cats will not tolerate a bath but will allow a haircut or brush out.

• Can you groom the Giant Breeds?

  No I am sorry I cannot. They are simply too large to fit comfortably and groom properly in the van. This includes GoldenDoodles and many Labradoodles due to coat type and labor intensity.

• What are your fees?

  Mobile salons typically charge more than average grooming salons. Prices depend on breed, coat type and condition, size of pet and other factors. Call or email for an estimate.

• Do I need to be home while you are grooming my pet?

  Yes, you will need to be available for the first few appointments to ensure you are comfortable with the service and the haircut meets your satisfaction.

• What areas do you service and what are your hours of availability?

  The mobile salon covers Flemington and Ringoes New Jersey. Appointments available Monday through Thursday, approx. 8 AM to 2:30 PM. Scheduling depends on location and groom time.

• Can I schedule a standing appointment?

  Yes! I strongly recommend it. Once booked, you don't have to worry about it and can pre-schedule holiday appointments.

• Does my pet need to have current vaccinations?

  I strongly encourage current vaccinations. I will require proof of current rabies vaccination before grooming your pet.

• Will you trim my other pet's nails even though you are not grooming him?

  Absolutely. Please let me know in advance so that I can set aside the necessary time.

• What types of payment will you accept?

  At this time, I can only accept checks and cash. Payment is due at the time of your appointment. Gratuities are not required or expected, but are always appreciated.
