About

I am Jana Spoor, a mobile cat groomer serving Reno, Nevada and surrounding areas. I provide in-home grooming services in the comfort of your bathroom, kitchen or utility room – which is less stressful for both you and your pet. I am a member in good standing with the National Cat Groomers Institute and am currently undergoing their extensive certification process. I made a career change from 20 years of professional county work to cat grooming to combine excellent customer service with animal care.

Services

• Bath and Blow Dry Massaging, nourishing bath to remove oily, flakey debris and loose fur. Addresses greasy, oily, or dry skin, tangles, excess nail growth and odor issues. Includes two to three rinses with degreaser, minor de-shedding/detangling shampoo with moisturizing conditioners, blow dry, ear and eye cleaning, nail trim.
• Lion Shave Shave fur close to skin on main body and down to elbows. Luscious mane and pom-pom or full tail remain unshaven. Includes two to three rinses with degreaser, minor de-shedding/detangling shampoo with moisturizing conditioners, blow dry, ear and eye cleaning, nail trim.
• Severe Mat/Pelt Removal Safely removes painful mats and pelts (hardened mats close to skin). Typically involves shaving fur close to skin, leaving mane, boot legs and pom-pom or full tail intact. May require two sessions. Includes rinses, de-shedding/detangling shampoo, blow dry, shaving, ear and eye cleaning, nail trim.
• Nail Trim Regular nail trimming to protect furniture and reduce risk of painful scratches.
• Mild to Moderate Mat Removal Add-on service for removing mild to moderate mats during regular Bath and Blow Dry or Hair Cut. Not for cats needing extensive mat removal.
• De-Shed and Combing Dislodges and removes excessive shedding fur and smooths out tangles. Preserves cat's beautiful, natural coat length. Popular among allergy sufferers.
• Sani Shave Removes mats and litter debris from cat's sanitary areas safely. Close-to-skin or half-inch fur options available.
• Belly Shave Removes mats or litter debris from belly area. Close-to-skin and half-inch fur options available.
