Frequently asked questions

• What's included in dog grooming?

Dog grooming goes beyond just a bath! It's a full hygiene service that promotes your pup's health and well-being. Full Groom includes soothing bath, blowout, haircut, thorough brushing, nail grinding, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. Mini Groom includes all of the above, without a haircut.

• How often should my dog be groomed?

Dogs with high-maintenance coats (Shih Tzus, Cockers, Poodles, Doodles, etc.) typically need grooming every 4–6 weeks. Other breeds can go up to 8 weeks between appointments.

• How long does grooming take?

Most appointments take around 2 hours or less, depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and age. Dogs not receiving haircuts usually take about 1 hour.

• Do I need to be home during grooming?

Yes, especially for first-time clients. You'll need to be present when we arrive, and someone must be available to receive your pet once grooming is complete. We never leave pets unattended.

• Do you groom cats?

  Yes—but only well-behaved cats.

• Do you charge extra for difficult pets?

If your pet has aggression issues or severe anxiety, please let us know in advance. We may need to use special tools or take breaks for your pet's comfort. If grooming becomes unsafe, we may recommend rescheduling or consulting your vet.

• What if my dog is matted?

Matting is common and treatable, but it does take extra time. A $25+ de-matting fee may apply. In severe cases, we may need to shave the coat to avoid hurting your pet. Regular brushing at home can help prevent this.

• What does "special handling" mean?

This refers to pets that need extra care due to age, temperament, or medical conditions. We tailor our approach to ensure your pup is comfortable and safe during their groom.

• Does mobile grooming cost more than a traditional salon?

Yes, mobile grooming provides personalized, stress-free, luxury care right at your doorstep. It's convenient, private, and tailored to your pet's comfort.

• What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, credit, and debit cards. Payment is due once grooming is complete.

• Is tipping expected?

While not required, tips are always appreciated! Your groomer puts a lot of love and care into every session and a tip is a great way to show your appreciation.
