My name is Amanda Bowman and I have always had a passion for animals. When I was younger, I vowed to one day become a veterinarian. Having this dream, I decided to go to BCIT Vocational High School and immediately chose to study in the Veterinary Assistant shop. Thanks to my wonderful teacher, I learned about animal health, behavior, and grooming. After graduating in 2003, I went into Petsmart, and applied to be a bather, with no real intentions of ever being a groomer. In under a year of bathing, I realized how fascinating and creative the grooming world truly was and decided to go to Grooming Academy. Today, I'm a proud member of the NDGAA (National Dog Groomer's Association of America). I have worked all over; from corporate to private, and now to mobile. Making the leap to mobile was a scary decision, but I felt the time was right. No matter the setting, the main goal has always been clear: the best safety and well being of your pet.

• Bath & Brush Package Bath with professional shampoo & conditioner, hand-drying, brush out/de-shedding if necessary, ear cleaning, tooth-brushing, nail trim and nail grind
• Full Groom Package Bath with professional shampoo & conditioner, hand-drying, brush out (up to 10 minutes light brushing), ear cleaning, tooth-brushing, nail trim and nail grind, haircut to specifications
• De-shedding Treatment Special de-shedding shampoo & conditioner for heavy shedders. Automatically included for long-haired, double-coated breeds.
• Flea Bath Non-chemical flea treatment bath. Kills fleas at time of groom but does not repel fleas.
• De-skunking De-skunking treatment. Price varies by size of dog and time spent.
• Matting Extra time and care to remove matts by shaving. Charged by time and severity of case.
• Brush-out Extra brushing to rid knots of hair or save hair for longer haircut. Only for dogs with light knotting.
• Special Handling Experienced handling for dogs of all temperaments. Additional charge may apply for overly aggressive or hard to handle dogs.
