Frequently asked questions

• What is your vaccination policy?

ALL pets must be current on rabies vaccination. Rabies vaccine must be on file with a veterinarian. We do not accept documentation from clients. We reserve the right to contact your vet to confirm vaccination details. If rabies vaccine has lapsed, we cannot schedule until 14 days after re-vaccination.

• What is your policy on matted pets?

We choose humanity over vanity and refuse to put pets through painful de-matting. We may recommend starting over with a fresh groom. We reserve the right to decline service if matting is so severe the pet needs veterinary medical treatment instead.

• Can I stay home during grooming?

New clients must be home for the first appointment. Many clients with busy schedules use latchkey service. Some exceptions apply and pets with certain health or behavioral challenges may not be eligible.
