Your pet is groomed in a calm and familiar environment which reduces stress and separation anxiety. Ideal for senior pets and anxious pets although, all pets love this experience.

• My dog/cat is really, really matted, what can you do for him?

  We offer pain free grooming experience. If severely matted, we shave down using longest blade that penetrates mats. It is more humane to cut down and start over than de-mat heavily matted coat, as de-matting is painful.

• My dog/cat has fleas. How do I get rid of them?

  Two step process: bathe with environmentally friendly flea-based natural shampoo to eradicate fleas and soothe irritations, then recommend monthly flea preventative treatment. Check with your vet for product recommendations.

• Do I have to be home for you to groom my pet?

  Yes. You can leave a key or digital invite. We contact you before arrival and notify when pet is returned. We treat your privacy and home with same respect as your pet.

• Is mobile grooming more expensive than shop grooming?

  Yes, usually $20-$30 more per pet. You get convenience of no trips and 4-hour wait time. Pet benefits from less stressful environment with no barking dogs, cages, or wait time.

• Do you need to plug into my electric outlet or use my water?

  No, our van is completely self-contained. We bathe with warm water. Generator provides electrical needs. Unit is always climate controlled.

• Do you sterilize your equipment?

  Yes. Bathing area, scissors, clippers, and surfaces are cleaned with spray disinfectant to ensure every pet is groomed in clean environment.

• You say the grooms are all inclusive, what does that mean?

  Bathing, grooming, teeth brushing, nail trim/grind, premium shampoo, premium conditioner, ear cleaning, bow/bandana are all included. No upcharges for nail grinding or premium products.

• Do you require vaccinations?

  No. We are one-on-one grooming salon. We sanitize before and after each pet. We understand if pet is too young, old or allergic to shots.

• Are you trained to do non anesthetic dental cleanings?

  Yes, certified by Merryfield School of Pet Grooming with over 300 hours practical hands-on training. Many groomers scale improperly, leaving back teeth full of plaque.

• How often should I clean my pet's teeth?

  Frequency depends on diet, age, health, breed and brushing frequency. When tan or brown color appears on teeth, it's time to clean. Leaving bacteria may lead to health issues and odor.

• Can teeth be cleaned as well with non-anesthesia as anesthesia?

  Effectiveness varies by pet behavior and mouth condition. Non-anesthesia cleaning is highly effective, though may take few sessions. Very satisfactory in preventing gingivitis and periodontal disease.

• May I watch the procedure?

  Not possible. Pet needs to focus on us, not you. When absent, pet bonds with us. Relationship built is one of trust and relaxation.

• My vet advised against Non Anesthetic Dental Cleanings, what should I do?

  Vets may disagree for various reasons. Important they base opinion on current studies. Many untrained groomers scale without knowledge. I'm trained with 300+ hours dental training and examine overall health.

• What kind of tools are used and how are they cleaned?

  Same manual scalers and curettes used for human dental cleanings. All scaling instruments sterilized prior to each use. Ultrasonic scalers used if tolerated.

• How can I help my pet maintain good oral hygiene after his cleaning?

  Best way is daily brushing. Other options: water additives, dental chews, dental toys, food/treats controlling plaque, regular dental cleanings.

• Why is your service more than some of the other companies?

  Some companies undercut competition, rushing technicians for volume. Compare apples to apples. I provide education, enzymatic water additive, toothbrush, toothpaste, and certified expertise.
