Premier mobile dog grooming at your doorstep. At Golden Paw Mobile Spa, it's all about the dogs. Owner Alexandra "Allie" Romero has been in the dog grooming industry for 15 years. She is a Nationally Certified Groomer in Non Sporting and a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America. With support from her husband Brian, they started Golden Paw Mobile Spa as a lifelong dream.

• Tearless Facial High quality shampoo & conditioners for specific coat needs with Happy Hoody to protect ears during drying and muffle sound.
• Fluff & Dry Drying and fluffing service included in bath.
• Nail Trim & File Nail cutting and filing service.
• Ear Cleaning & Light Ear Plucking Ear cleaning and very light ear plucking if needed. Not performed if ear infection is present.
• Tooth Brushing & Enzyme Breath Spray Tooth brushing with enzyme breath spray included.
• Paw Massage & Balm on Pads Paw massage and balm application on pads.
• Brushing & Combing Brushing and combing service with de-shedding when needed.
• Paw Trim & Sanitary Paw trim and very light sanitary trim if needed.
• Tidy Includes bath service plus feet, face, sanitary or rear trim on double coated breeds with very light maintenance trimming.
• Haircut Breed specific or custom haircuts including teddy bear trim, puppy cut, silhouette trim.
• Mini Spa Visit Nail cut & Dremel, paw balm, ear cleaning, teeth brushing. Not a bath service, perfect for in-between appointments.

Frequently asked questions

• Do I tip my groomer?

  As with most services you tip based on the service provided. Tipping is always appreciated, especially if the service is fantastic!

• How far in advanced do you need to make an appointment?

  Recommend checking 2-3 weeks in advance. Calendar is starting to fill up. Encouraged to book a few appointments in advance or book out for the year to prevent getting off schedule. Appointments do come available due to cancellations.

• Does the owner need to be home?

  For the first few appointments owner must be home for the entire appointment. After getting comfortable, latch key service can be arranged.

• What is Latch key?

  Convenience where owner doesn't need to be home for grooming. Provides way for groomer to have access to pup while owner isn't home. Provides more flexibility with scheduling and helps avoid cancellation fees.

• How often should my dog get groomed?

  Recommended to be on a 2/4/6/8 week schedule. Depends on lifestyle, shedding, matting & coat management.

• Do you Express Anal Glands?

  No. If a dog truly needs it done and has issues it is best done at a Vet as they can do it internally and help address the situation.

• What if a client needs to cancel?

  As long as it is before 24 hours there should be no problem. 48 hour appointment text reminder helps refill the spot. If during 24 hours there will be a fee. Cancellations after 4pm to day of appointments will be charged for the scheduled groom appointment amount.

• Do you offer multiple pet discounts?

  No unfortunately I do not.

• Are there any breeds you don't groom?

  Samoyed, Tibetan Mastiff, Long coated Malamutes, Chow Chows, Sharpei, St Bernard, Long coated huskies. Reason to the long coats for Husky and malamutes shoulder will act up unfortunately with past experiences.

• Do you have a weight limit?

  Weight limit at 85lbs. Dogs must be cooperative and able to get onto the table and into the tub without being resistant.

• Will you need to use my power and water?

  Vehicle is self contained with water and generator. At times if power fails, have a shoreline power cord to connect to garage or utility room. May need to refill water in multiple dog homes or homes with large dogs.

• Do you groom dogs that are aggressive?

  No. If dog exhibits aggression during groom process, grooming will be halted and charged for full service. Occasional muzzling for nails or drying allowed if safe and no health issues. Cannot be muzzled safely, Golden Paw Mobile Spa has right to refuse service.
