• Ears Top-tier, vet-approved ear cleaners. Ear plucking upon request (additional fee). Groomer alerts owner to irritation or infection.
• Nails Nail dremeling (filing) included in service. Clipping available if dog isn't fan of dremeling. Maintains proper nail length for health.
• Teeth Brushing Vet-approved toothpaste and soft bristle toothbrushes. Boosts oral health and freshens breath. Groomer reports signs of poor dental health.
• Anal Gland Expression Upon request, provided at no extra charge. Groomer can advise if necessary or consult your vet.

• What is included in dog grooming?

  Dog grooming covers all aspects of canine cleanliness and hygiene. Services vary by package. Full Groom includes bath, blow out, haircut, brushing, nail, teeth, ear care, and anal gland expression. Bath & Brush includes brush, bath, blow out, nail trim, and teeth cleaning.

• How much does it cost for a mobile dog groomer?

  Prices vary based on service location, dog breed, and dog weight. Mobile grooming is often higher than shops due to van costs. Fill out new customer form for price estimate.

• What vaccines do dogs need to be groomed?

  Dogs should be up to date on vaccines: Parvovirus, Adenovirus 2, Canine distemper virus, Rabies, and Para-influenza. Vaccinations keep your dog and other dogs healthy.

• How much do you tip the dog groomer?

  Treat your dog groomer as you would your hair stylist. A 15 percent to 20 percent tip is appropriate to show appreciation for a job well done.

• How can I make a reservation?

  Existing clients use the 'Request an appointment' form. New clients fill out the 'New Client Application' with information about you and your dog, and team will coordinate next steps.

  Team confirms arrival time day of appointment and calls when outside. Typical appointment takes 1 to 2 hours depending on dog's size and breed.

• Do you offer urgent or rush appointments?

  Message and team will do their best to accommodate your schedule.

• My dog got sprayed by a skunk! Can you help?

  Groombuggy does not accept dogs sprayed by skunks until properly de-skunked by owners or elsewhere. If identified during grooming, service halts and minimum fee charged.

• How long will the groom take?

  Typical appointment takes 1 to 2 hours depending on dog's size and breed. First-time grooms or dogs with issues like matting may take longer.

• Do I need to be home during the grooming session?

  Yes, at least when groomer first arrives and for first groom. Quick errands okay. Someone must be available to take dog after grooming. Dogs never left unattended.

• Are you able to work with older dogs?

  Yes. Groombuggy loves older clients and uses precautions and equipment necessary for safe and comfortable grooming experience. Discuss specifics during booking.
