Frequently asked questions

• How much do you charge?

Please check out our services page for pricing.

• Do you need to use our water and electricity?

No! Our cutting-edge, mobile salon is a fully converted, climate-controlled, and self-contained mobile grooming salon

• What is included in your packages?

Please visit out services page for in-depth information on our packages, and pricing!

• Do you accept Tips?

Certainly, tips are welcomed but entirely at your discretion! While not expected, they're deeply appreciated. Feel free also to visit our Facebook page to leave a positive review as a way of saying thanks!

• how often should My Dog Be Groomed?

Dogs should ideally be groomed every 4-6 weeks to prevent any health or coat problems. We mandate that all clients maintain a grooming schedule of no more than 8 weeks between sessions.

• Can I be with My pet While They Get Groomed?

Due to insurance and liability reasons, we cannot permit anyone inside the grooming van during services. Pets often remain calmer when they're not in sight or earshot of their human family members.

• Do I need to be home for my pets appointment?

We require all pet parents to be home for their dogs first initial appointment with us. After the first appointment, many clients become "latch key" clients, meaning you can leave a key, garage code or smart door code.

• Why is the cost of mobile grooming significantly higher?

Mobile Grooming is a luxury convenience service and we come to you! Our van is completely self contained, meaning the only thing you need to provide is your pup!

• What vaccines do you require?

We require all dogs to be current and up to date with their rabies vaccination. There is no exception to this, as it is legally required in the state of Kansas.

• Do you demat dogs?

Here at Heavenly Hounds we choose humanity over vanity grooming, meaning we will not do anything to your pet that will inflict pain or harm.
