About

I began my apprenticeship in 2020 and absolutely fell in love with the art of dog grooming. In 2021, I accepted my first position as a dog groomer at a salon in Columbia City. After a couple years of dreaming about going mobile, I found my Wag n' Tails grooming trailer. In 2023, I started Juno's Mobile Grooming, LLC. Before coming to dog grooming, I earned a degree in psychology and worked as a caregiver.

• What is mobile dog grooming?

  Mobile pet grooming is a luxury service bringing the salon to your door. Your pet will have one-on-one attention from an experienced groomer during the entirety of their appointment. This experience is entirely cage-free and all pets are hand dried (no kennel dryers).

• Are you currently accepting new clients?

  I am currently not accepting new clients, but I do have a waitlist you can join to get first priority in the chance some of my pups move away, etc, and have future availability open up.

• What locations do you service?

  I am based out of and service Fort Wayne, Indiana and have select days where I travel to Huntertown, Leo. I am currently NOT accepting new clients in City, Garrett, Auburn, Decatur, Avilla, etc.

• How do I get a price estimate?

  I have a price sheet listed under the pricing tab. If you want a more accurate estimate, you can text me a photo of your pet along with their weight.

• What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

  Please submit an intake form if you haven't already for your pet(s) vet information. On the day of your appointment, give your dog plenty of time to go outside and potty before I arrive. Make sure your pet is contained indoors or on-leash upon my arrival.

• Do I need to be present for my appointment?

  If you're an established client, we can arrange a key lock service if you cannot be present. Otherwise, I request that you remain on your property until the appointment is complete to ensure that I make it to my next appointment on time.

• How long does the process usually take?

  Typically pet grooming servicing take between 1-2.5 hours. Giant breeds may take longer depending on their coat condition. The first appointment will usually take the longest as I am first getting to know your pet and establishing a trusting relationship.

• Do you need access to my water and electricity?

  No, the mobile grooming unit is entirely self-sufficient with its own water tanks and generator! In the event that the generator malfunctions, I may request access to electricity.

• Can I use my own shampoo?

  I use high-quality products and also offer specialty shampoos (anti-itch, fragrance-free, or hypoallergenic) for no additional charge. If you have a medicated shampoo you'd like me to use, I can definitely use that!

• What dogs would benefit from mobile grooming?

  All dogs would benefit from one-on-one grooming! Specifically, this setting would be ideal for dogs with anxiety, special needs requiring more accommodating care, elderly pets, and so on!

• Why can't I be with my pet while it's being groomed?

  For liability reasons, my insurance company will not allow anyone other than employees and pets in the grooming trailer. Pets also tend to be more excitable and distracted when their owner is present, making the grooming process hazardous.
