I proudly hold the distinction of being a Master Groomer in my region, a reflection of years of dedication, advanced education, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Frequently asked questions

• Does my dog have to be up to date on his vaccinations?

  Yes, you will need to sign a Release Form stating its up to vaccinations, along with your Veterinarian's name and phone number.

• How often should I get my dog groomed?

  On the average, dogs should be groomed every 4-6 weeks. This depends on the owner's ability to do daily brush outs, your dog's breed, coat and how often your dog is outside.

• Does frequent bathing harm my dog's coat?

  No, veterinarians will encourage you to have your dog groomed on a regular basis. High-quality shampoos and conditioners help relieve dry, itchy skin.

• My dog sheds all the time, is there anything that might help for that?

  Yes, de-shed the coat during and after bathing which reduces shedding. This will help your dog stay cooler in the summer.

• My dog is matted, what can you do for him?

  A relaxing, pain-free grooming experience is offered. If severely matted, a shave down using the longest length blade will penetrate the mats. It is more humane to cut down the coat and start over than to de-mat heavily matted coats.

• Do you express anal glands?

  No.

• Do you brush my dog's teeth?

  Yes, you can add this for $10 extra. This includes your dog's own toothbrush that is saved for his visits. Your dog's teeth and gums must be in good health.

• How do you know your exact arrival time?

  An open window of 2 hours for arrival time is given. If unable to arrive within that window, you will be called. Please make sure you take your dog out to potty before arrival.

• Do I have to be home for you to groom my dog?

  For the first or second time, yes. When both your dog and groomer feel comfortable with each other, arrangements can be made for grooming without your presence.

• What if the client needs to cancel their dog's appointment?

  No problem, as long as you notify 48 hours in advance of your appointment so that time slot can be filled with another client's dog.

• What happens when Mona Bella needs to cancel an appointment?

  On rare occasions, cancellation may occur due to weather, road conditions, equipment/van breakdowns or personal/family illness. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance to reschedule.

• What about No Shows?

  A full service fee must be paid in advance in order to book again or the grooming slot will be filled with another client.

• What type of payments do you accept?

  All grooming fees must be paid at the time of service by cash, zelle or check. A $30.00 fee for returned checks will be charged and must be paid before another appointment is made.
