• Why is mobile grooming more expensive than a grooming salon?

  Mobile grooming is a luxury service that brings convenience to your doorstep. It's a one-on-one personal service from start to finish. Your pet doesn't have to sit in a cage for hours awaiting their turn or possibly over heating while being dried inside it's cage. Your pet will always have the same groomer and will not be exposed to other animals while in our care.

• What forms of payment do you accept?

  I accept Cash, Checks, Credit Cards and Zelle! Please Note: I Do Not carry change(unless prior arrangements are made) or give credit! Please have exact change ready.

• Why is my appointment scheduled with a 1 hour window instead of an exact time?

  I schedule with a 1/2 hour before/after the appointment time to accommodate for traffic, weather, unforeseen grooming delays and re-filling of water and/or gas. Because of these unpredictable events, I may be ahead or behind schedule; therefore, it's nearly impossible to give an exact time.

• Do you need to hook up to my home for power or water?

  No, my state of the art trailer is equipped with an RV generator and battery powered system to supply all of my appliances. I have separate water tanks: one filled daily with fresh water and another to store grey water. Plus, my trailer is equipped with a water heater in order to provide a warm bath for your pet and air conditioning to keep them cool during hot summer days.

• Do you groom older dogs and puppies?

  Yes. I have no age restrictions on the dogs I groom; however, puppies must be at least 8 weeks old and seniors must be in good health. I have the final word on whether I feel it is safe to groom older dogs based on health and condition. A Senior Pet Release Form must be signed for all pets over 12 years of age.

• Do you groom sedated pets?

  No, grooming sedated pets should be done under a veterinarian's supervision. Sedation makes it much harder to recognize the signs of distress and can result in injury or death.

• Why is a shave down sometimes more expensive than a regular haircut?

  In many cases a pet's fur is matted, has extremely thick hair, is excessively dirty or has other conditions which make shaving necessary and more difficult than a normal haircut. Shaving, especially a dirty, matted coat, also subjects our clippers and blades to wear and tear which can be costly to maintain or replace.

• My pet has a lot of mats/tangles. Is it necessary to shave them out?

  It depends on the severity. Minor mats may be worked out, but often shaving or de-matting is necessary. Severe mats can cause skin irritations and hide other conditions such as hot spots, dermatitis, seborrhea, cuts, scabs, sores and redness.

• What can I do to keep my pet from matting?

  Regular brushing with the correct brushes/combs and a consistent bathing/grooming schedule is essential for keeping your pet matt free, comfortable and healthy.

• Can I inspect the mobile salon or stay with my pet during the grooming?

  You're welcome to inspect the inside of the trailer from the doorway or windows only. For your safety, our insurance carrier prohibits anyone being inside the trailer except employees.
