Frequently asked questions

• Does my dog have to be shaved?

  Home maintenance and regular grooming are key to keeping a coat clean and free of knots, tangles, and/or mats. I adhere to a strict "humanity over vanity" policy. I will not de-matt an entire dog as it's painful and damages the coat.

• Why are larger haircut dogs charged hourly?

  Simply, time. They are far more work that takes more time.

• Does my dog have to stay on a schedule?

  Yes. Dogs that are groomed on a regular basis become comfortable with the process. It becomes part of life, not a punishment. Working with your groomer can determine what "regular" grooming looks like for your dog.

• Are there any breeds you do NOT groom?

  YES! Cannot accommodate: Any dog OVER 45lbs, German Shepherds, Malinois, Huskies, Chows, Shar Pei's, or thick coated Retrievers.
