Frequently asked questions

• What vaccinations are required for grooming services?

  All animals must be vaccinated against distemper, parvo and rabies. All vaccines must be completed at least 48 hours prior to any appointment.

• What if my animal cannot be vaccinated due to allergies?

  We will require a written exemption provided by a licensed veterinarian

• What can be forms can be used for vaccination verification?

  Written documentation of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian. A rabies certificate signed by a veterinarian

• Are vaccine titers an acceptable form of vaccine verification?

  No. Vaccine titers cannot be accepted in place of a vaccination.

• What holidays are we closed for?

  We are closed for all major holidays. These include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas

• How does weather effect an appointment?

  Living in Iowa, inclement weather is inevitable. If the school in your area is closed due to weather, we will not be able to provide services that day. If roadways are partially covered, we will do our best to keep to our daily schedule but please be aware that there will be a delay.

• What if you need to cancel your appointment?

  If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please notify your groomer within 24 hours of your appointment time. If you are not able to cancel within 24 hours, a cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed.
