Frequently asked questions

• What vaccinations are required?

Smooches for Pooches Mobile Grooming Spa requires all pets to have up-to-date rabies vaccinations before grooming. Distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza adenovirus type 2, parvovirus, corona, leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccinations are strongly recommended.

• What is the policy on matted coats?

We believe in "Humanity vs. Vanity," meaning we will do what is best for the pet. We will not cause serious or undue stress to pets by de-matting. If a dog is severely tangled and/or matted, it poses a greater risk of injury, stress, and trauma.

• What is the cancellation policy?

We require a notice of at least 48 hours for any changes or cancellations to an appointment. If you fail to inform us within this timeframe, you will be subjected to a 50% charge from the groom, which will be added to the next appointment.

• What happens if I don't show up for my appointment?

If we don't receive a confirmation within 24 hours of the reminder, your appointment will be considered a "No Show" and you will be subjected to a 50% charge from the groom, which will be added to the next appointment.
