• CAN I SAVE MONEY BY BATHING MY DOG MYSELF?

  While understandable to want to save money, bathing your dog yourself may make grooming more difficult. Clean, fluffed hair is essential for a proper clip. High-quality products and equipment are used to achieve best results. A thorough bath ensures coat is clean and prepped for precise and efficient grooming.

• CAN I SCHEDULE RECURRING APPOINTMENTS?

  Yes! When booking, you'll be asked which grooming schedule you prefer (1-, 2-, 4-, or 6-week). Your preferred schedule may determine which days the groomer is available in your area. After first appointment, future appointments can be scheduled in advance.

• CAN I STAY WITH MY DOG WHILE HE/SHE IS BEING GROOMED?

  Most pets behave better and are less anxious when owners are not present. For safety and insurance reasons, only the groomer and pet are allowed in the trailer during grooming. You are welcome to tour the trailer before or after the session.

• DO YOU GIVE DISCOUNTS?

  As a small business, the owner is the sole groomer and operator. Offering discounts would make it difficult to remain profitable and continue providing high-quality service. This policy applies to all clients, including those with multiple dogs.

• DO YOU GROOM CATS?

  The groomer specializes exclusively in dog grooming. While cats have been groomed in the past, it's not a focused service. The groomer has a deep passion for working with dogs and is able to read their energy and behavior with ease.

• DO YOU GROOM ELDERLY DOGS?

  Absolutely! The groomer has experience and knowledge to groom older dogs, considering breed tendencies, joint and hip fatigue, and sensitivity to noises. If the service becomes too stressful or unsafe, grooming will stop immediately to ensure pet well-being.

• DO YOU NEED TO HOOK UP TO MY HOUSE FOR WATER OR ELECTRICITY?

  No! The trailer is fully self-contained. It operates with its own generator for power and has water storage, so no connection to home utilities is needed. All that's required is a safe, accessible place to park.

• DO YOU OFFER LATCHKEY SERVICES?

  Yes! Latchkey services are available after the first initial appointment. A credit card must be kept on file. Pets should be in an easily accessible area with all bedroom doors closed. A key or access code must be provided in advance.

• HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY DOG BE GROOMED?

  Grooming frequency depends on breed, but generally every 4-6 weeks is recommended. Some breeds require more frequent grooming. Options include 1-, 2-, 4-, and 6-week schedules. Dogs with skin issues may need grooming every 1-2 weeks. A 2-week alternating schedule between baths and haircuts is available.

• HOW OLD DOES MY PUPPY NEED TO BE TO RECEIVE SERVICES?

  Puppies should be at least 8 weeks old and have received their first two sets of vaccinations. First sessions start with a Signature Bath or Bath + Sani to familiarize pup with grooming in a stress-free environment. First Signature Haircut typically recommended around 7-8 months old.

• DO YOU REQUIRE VACCINATIONS?

  Texas state law requires dogs be vaccinated for at least Rabies shot. The groomer strongly advises all shots: Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella, and Rabies.

• HOW SOON WILL I HEAR BACK WHEN BOOKING MY APPOINTMENT?

  As a small business with no receptionist, allow up to 24 hours for a response. Responses typically occur during business hours, quieter times of day, or early morning to avoid interrupting current clients' appointments.

• I DON'T WANT MY DOG ON A SET SCHEDULE, CAN'T I JUST BOOK WHENEVER?

  So Fetch! Mobile Dog Grooming may not be the right fit. The groomer needs to keep a tight schedule to optimize routes with rising gas costs.

• I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE, CAN I GET A REFUND?

  No refunds are offered, but the groomer wants complete satisfaction. Communicate expectations clearly before appointment. If there's an issue, contact within 48 hours to resolve. After 48 hours, concerns will be addressed at next appointment.

• I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT WHAT DO I DO?

  At least 48 hours' notice is requested. 48+ hours notice: no cancellation fee. Less than 48 hours: 50% of grooming fee charged. Same-day cancellations: full grooming fee required. No-call, no-show: 100% of appointment cost charged; rebooking may not be possible.

• MY DOG COMES TO WORK WITH ME, CAN YOU GROOM HIM/HER AT MY OFFICE?

  Yes! As long as there is room to park safely, it's not outside the service area, and you have permission for the groomer to be there, grooming can happen anywhere.

• MY DOG IS MATTED, WILL YOU SHAVE MY DOG?

  Yes. The groomer believes in prioritizing pet well-being. If coat is severely matted, dematting may not be the humane choice and won't be forced. If it can't be gently saved, it will be removed for dog's safety and comfort.
