Wet Paws Mobile Pet Grooming is based in Albuquerque, NM and began serving pets and pet parents in July 2022. Full-service mobile grooming for dogs and cats in the safety and comfort of specialized mobile grooming spa at your home or office. Self-contained vans are cage-free and climate-controlled, which is less stressful and more comfortable for everyone.

Services

• The Basic - Bath/Brush/Nails/Ears Full shampoo, fresh water rinse, towel and/or blow-dry, brush out debris and minor tangles/knots, trim nails, clean eyes and ears, and one final fluff. Typically 60-120 minutes.
• The Deshed - Bath/Brush/Deshed/Nails/Ears Full shampoo, fresh water rinse, towel and/or blow-dry, brush out debris and minor tangles/knots, trim nails, clean eyes and ears. Includes upgraded deshed shampoo/conditioner & additional blow drying/brushing/Furminator. Typically 90-150 minutes.
• The Complete - Bath/Brush/Haircut/Nails/Ears The Basic plus breed-appropriate haircut with scissors and/or trimming with clippers. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Typically 90-150 minutes.
• The Complex - Extended and Specialty Groom All of The Complete services with additional time for preparation, drying, brushing, and complex or breed-specific haircuts. For Standard Poodles, Doodles, Water Dogs, Giant Schnauzers, Old English Sheepdogs. Typically 120-180 minutes.
• Cat Brushout/Nails Brushing to remove loose hair and dead skin cells. Trim nails and clean ears. Typically 45-60 minutes.
• Cat Bath/Brushout/Nails Brushout to remove debris and tangles, followed by warm bath with professional grade shampoo. Trim nails and clean ears. Typically 60-90 minutes.
• Cat Brushout/Haircut/Nails Brushout to remove debris and tangles, followed by breed-appropriate haircut or shave. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Typically 60-90 minutes.
• Cat Bath/Brushout/Haircut/Nails/Ears Brushout, warm bath with cat-formulated shampoo, partial or full body haircut or shave. Nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Typically 90 minutes.
• Anal Glands Groomer will express the anal glands externally during the bath.
• De-Skunking Treatment Hydrogen peroxide-based treatment applied during bathing in addition to skunk odor specific shampoo.
• Excessive Matting/Dematting Additional time to address matting or excessive matting conditions; combined with de-shedding or Furminator treatment. $15 for each 15-minute increment as needed.
• Feet, Face, & Fanny trim Face, feet/legs, and fanny tidied up with scissors/clippers in conjunction with bath and brush service. Also called tidy trim or body contour trim.
• Nail Trim (add-on to full groom) Nail trimming services performed using nail clippers, file, or grinding.
• Nail Trim (stand alone) Nail trimming services performed using nail clippers, file, or grinding.
• Teeth Brushing A new toothbrush is used for each teeth brushing during spa session.
• Specialty Shampoo - Brightener/Whitening Specialty shampoo option.
• Specialty Shampoo - Hypoallergenic Specialty shampoo option.
• Shave Partial or full shave based on pet owner preference, breed standard, seasonal needs, or excessive matting.
• Pattern Set Setting grooming pattern for specific breeds such as Schnauzer, Westie, and Airedale. Future grooms focused on maintenance without initial fee.
• Potty Path (Sanitary Trim) Keeps heiny hair free of tangles and mats, reducing traps for urine, feces, dirt, and associated bacteria and odors.
• Re-wash For pets who have soiled themselves after their bath, requiring an additional bath.
• Pet Temperament Additional time allocated for grooming services if pet is not cooperative or unruly; typically reserved for extreme cases.
• Additional Appointment Time $15 per 15 minutes applies when appointment time exceeds allocated time for scheduled services.
• In Person Assessment Pet, pet parent, and groomer meet and greet with grooming introduction lasting up to 30 minutes. Groomer recommends specific services tailored to pet's needs.
