Frequently asked questions

  • What are the benefits of mobile grooming?

Service comes to your home or office, saving you time. No delivery or pick-up. Less stress for you and your pet. Personal one-on-one care. Great for senior pets. Sanitary, safe, healthy environment. No exposure to other animals. No car sickness. Kennel free. Hand-dried, not cage-dried. Premium products only.

  • Is mobile grooming more expensive than a salon?

Mobile grooming is a private one-on-one service. We come to you, and once your pet enters our truck we cater to them during the whole process. Your pet is worked on from start to finish without distractions. This limits the amount of pets we can schedule each day, therefore the price reflects the time spent.

  • How is the cost of the appointment determined?

The cost is based on several factors: the package you would like, the breed of the dog, the condition of the coat, and the pet's behavior. Without seeing your dog or meeting them, we cannot give you an exact price over the phone—only an educated approximation.

  • My dog is matted, but I don't want him shaved. Why won't you brush them out?

Because it hurts, A LOT! It's not fair to the dog! We will try our best to save as much of the coat as possible and use a deep conditioner that works to de-tangle the hair. We will always choose humanity over vanity.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel/reschedule we ask for more than 48 hours notice. If cancellation happens within less than 48 hours (business days) we charge 50% of the service. If within 24 hours or less we charge 100% of the service fee.

  • Do I need to be home while my dog is being groomed?

No! Once we've met and we're on the same page as to what you would like for a haircut, you do not need to be present for appointments. Latch Key service is always available!

  • How long does an appointment take?

Most dogs take us anywhere from 40 minutes to 90 minutes for the bath package. Appointments can vary based on package, breed, length of coat, and temperament. Once we meet your dog we will give you a more accurate time frame.

  • How often should I get my dog groomed?

It is recommended that you have your dog groomed every 4, 6, or 8 weeks to maintain a healthy and manageable coat. This will keep your dogs fur or hair from getting painfully matted and diminish shedding.

  • Why do you want us to groom on a recurring cycle?

Our job is to help you maintain your dog's coat properly. By going on a recurring cycle, you always have your spot reserved. Dogs groomed regularly view grooming as routine and come to enjoy it. Regular grooming prevents mats from forming.
