About
Lauren Warshaw, owner and stylist, started her mobile grooming business in 2005 in La Quinta, CA, then relocated to Boise, Idaho in June 2010. After eight Boise winters, she moved to Arizona to be near family. Club Doggie was voted "Best Grooming Salon" by KTVB Seven's Best of Boise 2013. Lauren attended California School of Dog Grooming (608 hours), graduated in Director's Circle with highest exam score (99.5%), and has been a member of National Dog Groomer's Association of America since 2005.

What is Mobile Dog Grooming and what are the benefits of my using your service?
Mobile grooming is a grooming shop on wheels with stainless steel tub, electric table, blow dryer, and tools. Your dog is the only dog in the van, never caged, always supervised. It's safe, sanitaryand less stressful for your dog on their property. Convenient for owners—no driving back and forth.

Did you go to dog grooming school and how long have you been grooming dogs?
Yes, California School of Dog Grooming for 608 hours (almost 5 months). Certified school run by AKC judge, one of the top in the country. Started grooming July 2005. Graduated in Director's Circle with highest exam score ever (99.5%).

Do you know how to groom all breeds of dogs to their breed standards?
Yes, learned correct AKC guidelines. Choose pet grooming over show grooming. Can do hand scissored Poodles, hand stripping, basic baths. Does not groom cats.

Do you use cage dryers?
No, never. Cage dryers have caused deaths, burns, and dry eye issues. All dogs are hand dried completely. Hand drying allows proper haircuts and prevents smell and shedding.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, fully insured with best vehicle and liability business insurance. Dog grooming not regulated for licenses, but important to choose groomer from certified school. Has business license where required.

What about large dogs, difficult dogs, old dogs and puppies?
Mobile van has proper equipment for safe handling. Great for scared dogs, puppies, difficult dogs—quiet with no distractions. Declines extreme biters and people-aggressive dogs. May charge additional "difficult dog" fee.

Can I give you my dog's favorite treats to take in the van?
Absolutely. Lauren has treats but happy to use client's favorite treats or toy for favorable experience.

Do you clean the ears, trim the nails and express the anal glands?
Yes, trims nails and cleans ears with every appointment. Trims sanitary area and foot pads with bath and tidy. Plucks ear hair if needed. Expresses anal glands if needed.

My dog has sensitive skin what kind of shampoo do you use?
Uses mainly natural products. Has different shampoos for every dog's skin/coat needs. Happy to use client's special medicated shampoo and soak for necessary 10 minutes.

Do your brush dog's teeth?
Yes, has individual use toothbrushes and toothpaste. Notes daily brushing is needed for effectiveness. Has product recommendation for keeping teeth free of tartar and plaque.

Does my dog need to have all his vaccinations?
Yes, DHPP and Rabies vaccines required. Senior dogs approved by vet to skip vaccines OK. Puppies need at least two sets by 10-12 weeks. Titers blood tests acceptable alternative.

How long will it take to groom my dog?
Most dogs take an hour, varies by breed, temperament, coat type/condition, and grooming requirements. Lauren asks questions during initial phone call to estimate time.

How does it work for my making an appointment, getting a standing appointment, canceling or changing an appointment and how do I know what time your will arrive?
Appointment required in advance. Standing appointments prioritized: weekly first, then bi-weekly, then monthly. Strict 48-hour cancellation policy. Frequent cancellations result in removal from schedule.
