Frequently asked questions

• Who owns Lucky Paws?

Lucky Paws is now proudly under new husband-and-wife ownership — Pin Gao & Ryan Farnan. Pin (Yale MBA, PharmD) and Ryan (Kellogg MBA College) bring deep experience in healthcare, tech and customer service.

• Do you offer memberships or rewards?

Yes! Our Bath Memberships offer up to 25% off regular prices.

• What's included in your services?

Every visit includes: iGroom or Les Poochs shampoo & conditioner, Full blow-dry and brush-out, Nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, Paw & nose balm, seasonal accessory, and luxury fragrance spritz, 6-point wellness check and photo.

• How do I tell my groomer what look I want?

Before each visit, fill out our digital consultation form and upload photos of your preferred style. At check-in, your groomer will consult with you one-on-one. Your notes and groomer's blade settings are saved to your dog's digital profile.

• Who are your groomers?

Our team includes Master Groomers with 20+ years of experience, and most have been grooming for over a decade. All certified and trained for consistency, communication, and comfort.

• What's your de-matting policy?

We prioritize comfort and coat health. Light tangles are brushed out gently, but if mats are tight to the skin, we may recommend a shorter, safer style. We'll always explain options and update your dog's profile.

• My dog gets anxious during grooms - can you help?

Yes! We never use sedatives. Our groomers are experienced dog owners who use calm energy, patience, and gentle handling to help even nervous pups feel at ease.

• What kind of products do you use?

Only ultra-premium iGroom and Les Poochs shampoos and colognes — SLS-, sulfate-, paraben-, and dye-free, and pH-balanced for coat and skin health.

• How do I book?

Book online 24/7 or contact your preferred salon via call or text. Transparent pricing by size and coat type appears as you book — no hidden fees.

• Where are you located?

NYC: Chelsea • Gramercy • Fresh Meadows. Long Island: Hicksville • Huntington • New Hyde Park • Syosset. Westchester: Bedford Hills. Mobile Grooming launching 2026.
