Frequently asked questions

  • How much does a house call nail trim cost?

$40 + tax for the first pet and $20 + tax for each additional pet.

  • What does the pet owner need to have prepared for a visit?

I bring all of the tools that I need. You may want to put your dog's leash/harness on before I get there, and you may want to have their favorite treats ready! I do recommend that cat's are put into a bathroom or small room where they cannot hide under/behind furniture.

  • Are you insured and/or licensed?

Yes. Perfect Paws House Calls LLC is fully insured and I am a Certified Pet Groomer, Pet CPR/First Aid Certified, and Fear Free Certified.

  • Which animals do you service?

Perfect Paws House Calls LLC performs nail trims on dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, lizards, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, and any other small household pets!

  • My pet is scared of nail trims! Is that okay?

Of course! Most clients are nervous about nail trims (especially the first few times!) I am extremely patient and go extra slow with these anxious pets!

  • How long does a nail trim appointment take?

A house call pet nail trim appointment shouldn't last more than 30 minutes. Usually I am in and out within 15 minutes!

  • What forms of payment do you take?

I can accept cash, checks, Venmo (@PerfectPawsHouseCalls), or credit through the square reader.

  • How often should my pet's nails be trimmed?

To avoid pain and health issues, it is suggested that you get your pet's nails trimmed every 4-6 weeks.

  • Do you do full grooms too?

No, I only offer house call nail trims. I do not do baths or full grooms.
