• How do I prepare for Polished Pets Mobile Grooming arrival?

  Please make sure you pet has had a quick bathroom break prior to grooming session. Also, please ensure your pet is easily accessible to the groomer upon arrival.

• How is communication handled before, during and after the grooming?

  All communication is handled via our app!

• What services do you offer?

  We offer comprehensive full grooming services for your dog, with tailored grooming based on your dog's temperament and needs. Full grooming services include bath, haircut, blow dry, nails, ears, sanitary trim. We also offer bath and brush only options, ongoing routine care, specialty add-ons such as de-shedding treatment, de-matting and coat restoration and gland expressing.

• Can I see inside the van or take a tour?

  Of course! Just let the groomer know in advance so we can allow time for our quick tour.

• Does my pet need to be vaccinated to be groomed?

  Yes. As a pet owner, you are responsible for ensuring that your pet is up to date on vaccinations as state laws require. We also recommend the following additional vaccinations: distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza adenovirus type 2, parvovirus, corona, leptospirosis, and Bordetella before being groomed.

• What if my dog has fleas?

  Pets with fleas must schedule the Flea Removal Service as this is a more extensive service and groomers must decontaminate the van after any flea removal service. Please note, per policy, if fleas are found during regular grooming (i.e. not notified), there is a $1000 fee associated as we must remove any van from service that has encountered fleas, which will cancel the remaining appointments for the day, so we can decontaminate our van.

• Are you insured and bonded?

  Yes! We are insured and bonded for your protection and peace of mind. That is a key benefit of hiring a professional bonded pet grooming network and is a question you should always ask when looking for a new groomer.

• How long does the grooming take?

  We estimate between 1 -2 hours depending on the breed of your pet, condition of their coat and hygiene needs.

• Do I have to be home for the groom?

  First time grooming appointment, yes. After our initial visit, you can complete our alternative access form, so you do not need to be home for future grooms.

• How does the At Office grooming work?

  We work with pet friendly corporate offices all the time. If you let us know ahead of time, we can set up a service through our app so all you have to do is type in your office address and select the best time for your schedule. Our groomer usually parks in designated parking lot and can take multiple appointments, so tell your co workers!

• Do I tip my groomer?

  Yes! As with most personalized services, tipping is appropriate especially if you are happy with the services.
