My career as a Professional Dog Groomer began with advanced professional training at the Kansas City Grooming Academy where I received certification in grooming fundamentals, advanced styling, safety, pet first aid and CPR, and advanced breed standard hair cuts. I am also trained in and dedicated to the wholistic approach to pet care and I now own my own professional mobile dog grooming business, Posh Parlor Mobile Grooming, LLC.

• Why Mobile Grooming?

  Posh Parlor Mobile Grooming is convenient, highly personalized service with highly skilled groomers. Whether your pup has difficulty in a salon environment or you're looking for a convenient way to get your pup pampered, we are happy to bring the salon to you!

• How does the appointment process work?

  You fill out our form, we look for a match as to when we will be in your area and your availability, and we schedule you. We will send you an ETA when we head your way on the day of your appointment.

• Why does mobile grooming cost more than drop off service?

  Mobile grooming pricing is based on its highly specialized, personal service and the enormous cost associated with bringing a state-of-the-art grooming salon to your doorstep.

• What type of payments do you accept?

  We accept cash, card, or check. Please note there is a small convenience fee for using a credit card.

• How long does it take?

  Small haircuts can take between 1-2 hours, and large haircuts or desheds can take up to 2-3 hours.

• Is there a weight or size limit?

  We are currently not accepting new clients over 100 pounds.

• Will you need to plug into my home?

  Nope! Our vans are equipped with enough water and electricity for our workdays.

• Why is my price higher?

  Because our prices are set by weight, if we started when your dog was a puppy, the price will grow along with your pup as they get bigger. The condition of your pet's coat may also factor into pricing.

• What if my dog is matted?

  For severe matting, the groomer may have no other choice but to shave your dog. Light dematting depends on the dog's tolerance of brushing and their coat condition.

• Do I need to be home for my dog's appointment?

  Nope! Once your dog is familiar with your groomer feel free to use our Latchkey services!

• What is your service area?

  We serve Leawood, Overland Park, Lenexa, Prairie Village, Mission Hills, Shawnee Mission, as well as parts of KCMO and Olathe.
