• How much does Rooney cost?

Rooney offers competitive pricing in line with other top-rated dog grooming services. Rates vary based on your dog's size, breed, coat condition, and the specific service selected. Most appointments range from $100–$325+, depending on your pup's needs.

• How long does a typical groom take?

Most grooms last between 1 and 2.5 hours depending on your dog's breed and size, though timing may vary based on their individual needs. We take our time with every groom to ensure each pup feels comfortable, cared for, and never rushed.

• How do I book a service?

Booking is easy: give us a call, send us a text or hop into our online booking portal to reserve your appointment. We'll handle the rest!

• Does your van need access to water and power?

Nope! Our state-of-the-art mobile grooming studios are fully self-sufficient and purpose-built for mobile service. We never need to connect to your home for water or power — we bring everything required to pamper your pup right to your doorstep.

• Do you groom on the weekends?

We sure do! We're open on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM to help accommodate your schedule and make booking as convenient as possible.

• What areas does Rooney service?

We service all of San Diego County, with the exclusion of Camp Pendleton.

• What products will you be using on my dog?

We invest in premium, professional-grade shampoos and conditioners designed to support skin health, coat integrity, and overall comfort. Every mobile studio is stocked with gentle, hypoallergenic, and fragrance-free oatmeal formulas.

• Is the Rooney Club a good option for me?

If your pup is groomed more than three times a year, the Rooney Club is absolutely worth considering. Designed to make grooming more affordable, routine, and seamless, the membership helps you stay consistent while enjoying extra perks.

• What is Rooney's cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice via phone call or text. Changes made within 24 hours of your appointment may be subject to a fee.

• How does Rooney handle matted or compacted dog coats?

If we encounter matting or a heavily compacted coat during your appointment, your groomer will walk you through the safest and most appropriate next steps. In some cases, this may require adjustments to the groom to ensure your dog's well-being.

• What is Rooney's pick-up and drop-off policy?

We operate on dedicated appointment times rather than broad arrival windows. We kindly ask that you're available at your scheduled drop-off and pick-up times so we can stay on route and respect each family's appointment.

• Does Rooney ever refuse service?

Your dog's safety — and the safety of our team — is always our highest priority. If a dog does not meet our safety guidelines, we may need to decline or discontinue service to ensure everyone's well-being.
