My name is Maureen Hill and I've been in the grooming business for over 44 years. I kind of fell into the grooming business – after graduating from high school I attended Center for Creative Studies majoring in Graphic Communication, while at the same time I worked part time at an exotic pet shop. In 1982 I took a grooming class at Master School of Dog Grooming in Redford. The turning point was in 1985 when I got a job at Jill's Klasy Klip in Waterford, that's where my skills were fine tuned. After seven years I decided to go into business for myself and opened my own grooming salon in Novi in June of 1992 - Top Dog Grooming. After 6 years of salon ownership, I decided to go mobile. June 1998, Top Dog "Mo"bile Grooming.

• What breeds do you groom?

  NO GIANT BREEDS, NO LARGE BREEDS (90+ lbs). NO LARGE or MEDIUM DOUBLE COATED BREEDS. Examples of breeds that take about an hour: Bichons, Poodles, Shih Tzus, Yorkie, Terriers, Maltese, Small Mixes. Larger dogs like Labs, Bassetts, Dobermans take longer.

• What is your cancellation policy?

  If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours a charge of $50.00 per pet! Cashiers Check or Money Order must be mailed prior to setting up next appointment.
