Frequently asked questions

• Why does mobile grooming cost more than brick-and-mortar grooming?

  Mobile grooming offers personalized, one-on-one service. Since we can only work on one dog at a time and service a limited number of dogs in one day, it is a premium service designed to reduce stress and provide convenience.

• Why can't you give me an exact price when I first contact you for an appointment?

  Pricing varies based on coat condition and length, behavior during groom, and frequency of appointments. Once we meet your dog, we can assess factors that may affect grooming time and cost.

• Can I be in the truck with you when you groom my dog?

  Generally not recommended. Your dog will focus on you rather than cooperating with the groomer. The grooming should be a one-on-one experience between dog and groomer, though owners may occasionally help calm the dog.

• How long will the groom take?

  On average, most grooms take around an hour and a half. Small, short-haired dogs getting only a bath take less time than dogs getting full body haircuts. We work efficiently but do not rush.

• Do you need to hook-up to my electricity or water?

  No. Our truck is fully self-contained with climate control, hot and cold water, and carries 50 gallons of fresh water.

• Do I need to be home for my pet's appointment?

  For the first visit, yes. After that, you do not need to be home. Many clients are not home during appointments.

• Do you come to my area?

  We provide service to a 10 mile radius from Ardmore, Winston-. Clients outside our service area can bring pets to our base location.
