This all started a few years ago when I decided to make knives as Christmas gifts for my brother-in-laws. I learned to forge, grind, and sharpen steel to a razor edge. During quarantine in 2020 my family and friends began to ask if I would sharpen their knives for them and I saw a need in the community for a sharpening service. After training & buying equipment I started Stay Sharp OK as a nights & weekends business. Near the end of 2020 my wife & I were expecting our first child and I decided I would work from home sharpening full time while being a stay-at-home dad. May 2021 I went full time and the next month our amazing son was born! Since then we have had our second child and my business has grown so much that my wife stays home with us now as well. I am always training and expanding my services to best serve my clients. I am so blessed to have a community that has made it possible to live this dream of running my own business while taking care of my family.
