After starting her career as a professional groomer in a small, locally owned salon in Northern Connecticut, Alicia saw the desperate need the types of services and convenience mobile grooming can provide. Starting small with only one van the business has grown over the years.

• Do you service my area?

  Tidy Tails To Go is based out of Enfield Connecticut and we primarily service North Central CT. We try to service as many towns, and dogs in need as we can!

• What if I live outside this area?

  We encourage all prospective clients to complete an intake form under our Become a Client page. Our business is expanding and we may be coming to your area soon!

• Do you bring your own water supply and will you ever reuse water on my pet?

  Our vans are equipped with both a FRESH water and a WASTE water tank. We will provide all the water needed to groom your pet and dispose of it off of your property after service is completed! Dirty water is never reused on your pet!

• Do you need to plug in your van at my location?

  While our vans have the capability to plug in somewhere if needed, it works on inverter batteries which are charged overnight, and while the van is idling. You can count on us to be completely self-sufficient for your pet's groom!

• Do you groom when it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter?

  Our vans are a climate-controlled environment! We have A/C and heaters to keep your groomer and your furry friend feeling comfortable on both those hot summer days and chilly winter afternoons!

• Do you groom more than one pet at a time?

  Typically, we prefer one pet at a time. We have found the one-on-one attention to your dog reduces stress and allows us to do a quality job with the groom in a timelier manner!

• Can I come inside the van?

  Absolutely! However, we do find pet's typically present more anxiously during the grooming process when pet parents are visible! We encourage you to come look at our space and see the personalized care your pet is receiving.

• Do you groom all breeds? How about cats?

  We are excited to announce we have two amazing groomer's with the experience and comfort to groom cats moving forward in 2026! We groom most breeds of dogs.

• Why do your prices seem high and what forms of payment do you accept?

  We provide a customized service of comfort and convenience for both you and your pet. You can pay through all major credit cards, check, or cash!

• Do you have a cancellation fee?

  Just like your time, ours is also valuable and when you book an appointment you're reserving our time. We have a cancellation policy and charge a fee accordingly.
