Mobile dog grooming business operated by Tony, an experienced groomer who graduated from New York School of Dog Grooming in Manhattan. Owned and operated a successful mobile dog grooming business for sixteen years in before opening Top Dog Pet Services in North Carolina in 2008. Attends major pet grooming conferences several times a year to stay current with styling techniques, products and equipment. Volunteers grooming skills at animal shelters and rescue groups.

Do you groom cats?
No sorry love the kitties but only groom dogs.

What are your hours for grooming?
Monday – Saturday, with early morning appointments starting at 7am for your convenience. The office is open Monday – Saturday 8am to 6pm and there is always someone there to answer your call during those business hours.

How long does it take for a grooming?
A typical grooming takes about an hour.

What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards (fee applied), and checks.

Yes we work year round weather permitting.

How often should my dog be groomed?
On average, dogs should be groomed every 4-6 weeks, of course this depends on the owners ability to do daily brush outs. It also depends on your dogs breed, coat and how often they go outside.

Does frequent bathing harm my dog?
No, veterinarians will encourage you to have your dog groomed on a regular basis.

What type of products do you use on my dog?
In an attempt to give my clients the best service I use only premium shampoos and conditioners that are designed specifically for dogs. However, if you prefer that I use your shampoo, just provide me with it.

Do I have to be home for you to groom my dog?
For the first time yes. When both your dog and I feel comfortable with each other we can make arrangements for grooming to be done without your presence.

Is mobile grooming more expensive than shop grooming?
Yes, a bit more and for that you get the convenience of not making two trips to the grooming shop and having to wait approximately 4 hours in between drop-off and pick-up times.

Is there an age limit?
Yes, we don't groom dogs over 14 years of age or at the groomers discretion.
